Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot cleaner to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don’t wish to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self vacuum-emptying which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in its place instead of scattering it across the floor vacuum robot. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a little grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is a solid option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic vacuum cleaner commercial cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean floors, the best value robot vacuum choice is probably one that is a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone, but it's one that can assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the top available - but it's also pricey.

The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price cost.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive, but offers many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room for it to move, however.

The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable items in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it started.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.shark-av2501ae-ai-robot-vacuum-with-xl-hepa-self-empty-base-bagless-60-day-capacity-lidar-navigation-perfect-for-pet-hair-compatible-with-alexa-wi-fi-connected-carpet-hard-floor-black-54-medium.jpg
